Hi my name is Jasmine aka Jazzy, and I'm a So You Think You Can Dance FANATIC!
In seasons past I've sent very detailed critiques and reviews of the shows to close friends and family, but Season 9 brought a change! I decided, after being told to do so for many years, to start a blog, with So You Think You Can Dance as my subject material! I bring to you honest and knowledgeable critiques on everything from the dancers to the judges during the season, and work diligently to keep you posted on EVERYTHING there is to be kept posted about during the off-season.
I am 21, and have been watching So You Think You Can Dance since season one, and as the daughter of a break dancer/popper and a hip-hop dancer, it's safe to say that music and dancing are definitely in my blood. I'm just beginning my senior year of college, as a Criminal Justice major, and between school and working two jobs, there isn't much time for the things I love to do, but blogging has proved to be an effective solution. I love it, and as long as I have even one person reading along, I'll continue to blog, because it's definitely become my newest passion.
Concerned about my credentials? I attended an Arts High School and started out college as a theater major. In both institutions I was greatly involved in the dance programs as well. I have base knowledge in Ballroom, Latin Ballroom, Ballet, Jazz and semi-expert knowledge in Hip-Hop and Break Dance, and of course the new styles on the show; Dubstep and Animation.
